Abstract

The result of the system control of investigation for the state criminal executive activity realized in Ukraine in accordance with a Low, the attempt was applied to establish the degree of given control effectiveness in part of differentiation and realization principal and individualization penalty in Ukrainian correctional facilities. The author defined the role and place of the control mechanism in the execution of criminal penalties, as well as ways to improve the effectiveness of control over the enforcement of sentences, and offered science-based ways to further improve the systems of control over the execution of punishment in the correctional facilities of Ukraine.
