Анотація
Метою статті є визначення особливостей пра-
вового та соціального захисту працівників поліції
у процесі проходження служби, розробка практич-
них пропозицій та рекомендацій щодо вдосконалення
правового регулювання соціального захисту, прове-
дення аналізу чинного законодавства із зазначених
проблем.
Досліджено сутність та юридичну природу
поняття соціального захисту працівників поліції.
Проведено аналіз законодавства щодо особливостей
та значення соціального захисту працівників поліції.
З урахуванням зарубіжного досвіду реалізації гарантій
соціального захисту працівників, зроблені висновки
щодо необхідності удосконалення правового регулю-
вання гарантій прав соціального захисту працівників
поліції в Україні.
Автор зазначає, що соціальний захист працівників
поліції є складним і одночасно, дуже необхідним скла-
довим елементом в національному та міжнародному
законодавстві.
Проте, незважаючи на теоретичну та практичну
значущість наукових доробок у сфері соціального захи-
сту, єдності у вирішенні низки дискусійних питань
щодо визначення понятійного апарату та основних
форм соціального захисту, на сьогодні немає.
Зазначене пояснює необхідність та актуальність
ґрунтовного дослідження правових і організацій-
них аспектів соціального захисту поліцейських, що
і визначило вибір теми дослідження. Дискусійною
залишається проблема вдосконалення норматив-
но-правової бази, покликаної регулювати робочий
час, пільги, соціальні та компенсаційні виплати,
допомоги, соціальні послуги працівників поліції. The purpose of the article is to determine
the peculiarities of legal and social protection of police
officers during their service, to develop practical proposals
and recommendations for improving the legal regulation
of social protection, to conduct an analysis of the current
legislation on the specified problems.
The essence and legal nature of the concept of social
protection of police officers have been studied. An
analysis of the legislation regarding the features
and importance of social protection of police officers was
carried out. Taking into account the foreign experience
of implementing guarantees of social protection
of employees, conclusions were drawn regarding
the need to improve the legal regulation of guarantees
of the rights of social protection of police employees in
Ukraine.
The author notes that the social protection of police
officers is a complex and, at the same time, a very necessary
component of national and international legislation.
However, despite the theoretical and practical
significance of scientific developments in the field
of social protection, there is currently no unity in solving
a number of debatable issues regarding the definition
of the conceptual apparatus and basic forms of social
protection.
This explains the necessity and relevance of a thorough
study of the legal and organizational aspects of the social
protection of police officers, which determined the choice
of the research topic.

framework designed to regulate working hours, benefits,
social and compensatory payments, benefits, and social
