Міжнародно-правовий механізм протидії тероризму на морському транспорті

Abstract

Статтю присвячено дослідженню міжнародного нормативного регулювання безпеки судноплавства під час здійснення перевезень морським транспортом. Відзначено особливу роль морських перевезень для транспортної галузі та економіки світу в цілому, що обумовлює особливу увагу міжнародної спільноти до забезпечення безпеки їх функціонування. Визначено необхідність розвитку міжнародного співробітництва з метою вироблення та вжиття ефективних і практичних заходів щодо запобігання всім незаконним актам, спрямованим проти безпеки морського судноплавства, а також переслідуванню та покаранню осіб, які їх здійснюють. Здійснено огляд міжнародних актів, нормами яких врегульовано механізм забезпечення безпеки морського транспорту від терористичних посягань.

The article is devoted to the study of the international normative regulation of shipping safety during transportation by sea. The special role of maritime transport for the transport industry and the economy of the world as a whole was noted, which causes special attention of the international community to ensuring the safety of their functioning. It was determined that the need for the development of international cooperation in order to develop and take effective and practical measures to prevent all illegal acts directed against the safety of maritime shipping, as well as to prosecute and punish the persons who commit them. A review of international acts, the norms of which regulate the mechanism of ensuring the safety of maritime transport against terrorist attacks was carried out.
