dc.description.abstractУ статті визначено проблеми соціального забез- печення сімей загиблих працівників поліції. Проаналі- зовано такі нормативно-правові акти: Конституцію України, Конвенцію з прав людини, Закон України «Про Національну поліцію», Закон України «Про державну службу», Закон України «Про статус ветеранів війни, гарантії їх соціального захисту», за результатом яких виявлено прогалини в законодавстві щодо охо- рони сімей загиблих поліцейських. Крім зазначеної проблематики в законах, визначено відсутності бюджетних асигнувань щодо фінансування більшо- сті урядових структур, доцільним є дослідження матеріального та соціального забезпечення одного з ключових органів з охорони правопорядку в дер- жаві, а також законних прав та інтересів грома- дян – Національної поліції. Виокремлено особливості соціального забезпечення працівників поліції. Дослі- джено проблематику з точки зору різних учених, які приділили достатньо уваги дослідженню вказаної тематики. Розглянуто пільги, які існують у чин- ному законодавстві, і такі, які могли б існувати, що могло б позитивно вплинути на якість життя сімей загиблих поліцейських. Проаналізовано нормативно правові акти, які стосуються пільг ветеранів війни, загиблих поліцейських. Також автором проаналізо- вано проблему з двох боків: з боку забезпечення прав загиблих працівників поліції на законодавчому рівні та на рівні судової влади. Проаналізовано практику Європейського суду з прав людини щодо дискримінації за будь-якою ознакою – статі, раси, кольору шкіри, мови, релігії, політичних чи інших переконань, наці- онального чи соціального походження, належності до національних меншин, майнового стану, народження тощо. Запропоновано зміни до чинного законодавства, що могли б поліпшити соціальний статус сімей заги- блих поліцейських. This article identifies the problems of social security for the families of deceased police officers. The following normative legal acts are analyzed: the Constitution of Ukraine, the Convention on Human Rights, the Code of Ukraine “On the National Police”, the Code of Ukraine “On Civil Service”, the Code of Ukraine “On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of Their Social Protection”. As a result of which gaps in the legislation concerning protection of families of the lost policemen are revealed. In addition to these issues, the laws stipulate the lack of budget allocations for financing most government agencies, it is advisable to study the material and social security of one of the key law enforcement agencies in the country, as well as the legal rights and interests of citizens - the national police. Peculiarities of social security of police officers are singled out. The issue is studied from the point of view of various scientists who have paid enough attention to the study of this topic. The benefits that exist in the current legislation and those that could exist that could positively affect the quality of life of the families of deceased police officers are considered. The normative legal acts concerning the privileges of war veterans and killed policemen are analyzed. Also, the author analyzes the problem from two sides in terms of ensuring the rights of deceased police officers at the legislative level and at the level of the judiciary. The case law of the European Court of Human Rights on discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, color, language, religion, political or other beliefs, national or social origin, belonging to national minorities, property status, birth, or other grounds is analyzed. After that, changes were proposed to the current legislation that could improve the social status of the families of the dead police officers.uk_UA
