The article examines the experience of some foreign countries in terms of the regulation of the
institution of testing in criminal law. Attention is focused on the fact that the criminal legislation of many countries
defines a large number of names of the analyzed institution. It has been established that the terminology used by
the legislator in different countries in relation to institutions, which, in their degree and content, are types of
conditional non-application (non-fulfillment) of the punishment imposed by the court, are also quite different. є
You can also do it with good health. The experience of such countries as England, USA, Sweden, Germany,
France, Lithuania, Belarus has been studied. It has been determined that the peculiarity of the individualization of
the application of the boundaries of the probationary period is that, in accordance with the properties of the
convicted person, the probationary period can be established only in relation to a part of the punishment imposed
by the court, it can last only a few months, it can change, depending on the behavior of the convicted person as in
the direction of reduction, and in the direction of increase, which is not provided for by domestic legislation.
