Анотація
У роботі розглянуто питання адміністративно-територіальних перетворень у Слов’яносербії другої половини
XVIII ст. Зазначено причини реорганізації поселених там гусарських полків і утворення з них Бахмутського гусарського
полку. Проаналізовано процеси організації поселених пікінерних полків на Півдні України та ліквідацію через це Слобід-
ського (Новослобідського) та Бахмутського козацьких полків. Звернено увагу на практику використання російськими
урядовцями примусового залучення українського козацького населення до пікінерної служби. Досліджено роль поселених
гусарських та пікінерних полків у Катерининській провінції при реалізації Російською імперією експансійної політики
й захоплення нових земель у Північному Приазов’ї та Причорномор’ї.
Вивчено етапи реформування військово-адміністративного устрою в Слов’яносербії й поступовий перехід коли-
шніх військових поселень під управління цивільних адміністрацій. Проте ці населені пункти ще довгий час йменували
за назвами гусарських рот. Зазначено про свавілля слов’яносербських поміщиків, яке чинилось при заселенні земель, що
були надані урядом на правах рангових дач.
Звернено увагу на вплив козацьких традицій та звичаїв при організації в колишніх військових поселеннях (ротах)
Слов’яносербії цивільного управління та формування там місцевих органів влади, створення посад, зокрема виборних
отаманів, сотських, десятників тощо. Завдяки активному залученню у другій половині XVIII ст. вихідців із Гетьман-
щини та Слобідської України до заселення земель у Слов’яносербії басейн річки Лугань було перетворено із безлюдного
степу в обжитий край.
Згадано про приналежність колишніх слов’яносербських військових поселень до Бахмутського та Донецького
повітів, а також про значимість селища Луганського заводу при визначенні у XIX ст. місця повітового центру в Слов’я-
носербському повіті. The work examines the issue of administrative and territorial transformations in Slavic Serbia in the second half of the
18th century. The reasons for the reorganization of the hussar regiments settled there and the formation of the Bakhmut hussar
regiment from them are indicated. The processes of organization of settled pike regiments in the South of Ukraine and the liquidation
of the Slobidsky (Novoslobidsky) and Bakhmut Cossack regiments due to this have been analyzed. Attention is drawn to
the practice of Russian government officials’ use of the forced involvement of the Ukrainian Cossack population in pike service.
The role of the hussar and pike regiments settled in the Katerynyn province during the implementation of the Russian Empire’s
expansion policy and the seizure of new lands in the Northern Azov and Black Sea regions was studied. The stages of reforming
the military-administrative system in Slavic Serbia and the gradual transition of former military settlements under the control of
civilian administrations are studied. However, these settlements were named after the hussar companies for a long time. It was
mentioned about the arbitrariness of the Slavic-Serbian landowners, which was done when settling the lands that were granted
by the government with the rights of rank dachas.
Attention is drawn to the influence of Cossack traditions and customs in the organization of civil administration in the
former military settlements (companies) of Slavic Serbia and the formation of local authorities there, the creation of positions,
in particular, elected chieftains, sotsky chiefs, destyniks, etc. Thanks to active involvement in the second half of the 18th century
of natives of the Hetman region and Slobid Ukraine before settling lands in Slavic Serbia, the basin of the Luhan River was
transformed from a deserted steppe into an inhabited region.
The affiliation of the former Slavic-Serbian military settlements to Bakhmut and Donetsk counties is mentioned, as well as
the significance of the village of Luhansk Zavod when determining the location of the county center in the Slavic-Serbian county
in the 19th century.
