dc.description.abstractThe article contains a study of the concept of weapons training in the content of professional education of officers of a special police unit in the context of legal, pedagogical and psychological support of such educational and professional activities of police officers. Special attention is paid to the formation of skills and abilities in the context of the existing set of exercises for workers of this category, taking into account the type of firearms used by the police, as well as the scope of police activity, as a result, we have proposed our own visions in this direction regarding the improvement of the set of means of organizational, legal and pedagogical and psychological support for this type of professional training. Suggestions were made on the issue of harmonizing the use of the terms "use" , as well as expanding the list of grounds for the use of firearms in the content of the Law of Ukraine "On the National Police", in particular regarding the possibility of using firearms to destroy obstacles and forced opening of premises. Weapons training of police officers of a special police unit is directly related to other types of training in the content of professional education of a police officer, especially tactical and special. Стаття містить дослідження поняття вогневої підготовки у змісті професійної освіти співробітників підрозділу поліції спеціального призначення у розрізі правового, педагогічного та психологічного забезпечення такої освітньої та професійної діяльності поліцейських. Окрема увага приділена питанню формування умінь і навичок у розрізі наявного комплексу вправ для працівників зазначеної категорії з урахуванням різновиду вогнепальної зброї, що використовується поліцейськими, а також сфери здійснення поліцейської діяльності, як наслідок запропоновано власні бачення в даному напрямку щодо удосконалення сукупності коштів. -психологічного супроводу зазначеного виду професійної підготовкиuk_UA
