dc.description.abstractВ даній науковій статті визначаються загальні положення біотероризму, а саме з'ясовується його сутність, особливості та характерні риси. Акцентується увага на причинах, що зумовлюють високу небезпеку біотероризму, а також заходах протидії біотероризму в Україні, враховуючи досвід зарубіжних країн. В данной научной статье определяются общие положения биотерроризма, а именно выясняется его сущность, особенности и характерные черты. Акцентируется внимание на причинах, обусловливающих высокую опасность биотерроризма, а также мерах противодействия биотерроризму в Украине, учитывая опыт зарубежных стран.In this scientific article general provisions are defined, namely the essence, features and characteristic features, bioterrorism as especially dangerous type of terrorism is investigated. The biological weapon, from the point of view of experts, constitutes the greatest danger among weapons of mass destruction as has high, in comparison with other types of weapon, the striking potential. Specificity of the biological weapon that stimulates interest of terrorists in her, is defined by its characteristic features, namely the high striking ability, simplicity of receiving and mobility. Threat of bacteriological terrorism became real therefore counteraction of bioterrorism it has to be presented by complex system of the measures excluding receiving the biological weapon by terrorists and also provide the most effective reaction in case of an act of terrorism. In particular, it is necessary to refer introduction of the laws aimed at providing biological safety to the main directions of counteraction to biological terrorism; development of effective remedies of diagnostics and fight against infectious agents; establishment of control of distribution and use of biological agents; ensuring reliable protection of water intaking, water, sewer communications; improvement of system of vaccination against infectious diseases; improvement of material and technical resources of laboratories of treatment-and- prophylactic establishments. Unfortunately, Ukraine lags behind many countries of the world in a question of biological safety. Today only legislative developments on bases of counteraction to terrorism of biological character continue, because of us it is offered to pay attention to experience of the United States of America in a question of counteraction of bioterrorism.uk_UA
