Навички, пов'язані з емоційним інтелектом медіатора, допомагають учасникам процесу усвідомити свої почуття і емоції, пов'язані з конфліктною ситуацією, а також створити сприятливу атмосферу довіри і співпраці, яка сприяє вирішенню конфлікту. Безсумнівно, все це складові особистості медіатора. According to the author, the development and successful mastery of professional competences, including emotional and conflict-related ones, is an important component of the work of a practicing mediator. The skills related to the emotional intelligence of the mediator help the participants in the process to realize their feelings and emotions related to the conflict situation, as well as to create a favorable atmosphere of trust and cooperation, which contributes to the resolution of the conflict.
