Анотація
The article is dedicated to the problems of administrative responsibility for domestic abuse committing. The features of bringing
to administrative responsibility of persons who have committed domestic violence, are analyzed in the article. There are presented
the results of the monitoring of judicial practice on the consideration of administrative cases of domestic violence. As a result of the
monitoring, a number of problematic issues have been identified which are classified into those related to the activities of judges, those
related to the activities of police officers, and systemic problems.
Particular attention is paid to the need for mandatory professional development of judges and police officers in the application of
legislation on preventing and combating against domestic abuse. It was also proposed to make appropriate changes to the Code of
Ukraine on administrative offenses, which will contribute to the effective implementation of legislation in the field of prevention and
counteraction to domestic violence.
