Анотація
The article is devoted to the coverage of current and future trends of constitutional reform in
Ukraine, revealing peculiarities of ensuring its efficiency and effectiveness. The problem of the
“gap” between the objective level of development of social relations and the legal norms that
are called for them to be regulated is evidenced, which causes an increase in the differentiation
between the “actual” and “legal” constitution. The objective reasons for constitutional reforms,
among which are both internal political and external causes, are highlighted. It is stated that
the Constitution as the Basic Law, the content of which is determined by the stated purpose,
laid a certain program of development as a society in general, and the state in particular, and
the means of its achievement are determined.
