Анотація
In the article scientific approaches to the problem of criminalistics description of crimes in the structure of
method of investigation are studied. On the basis of analysis of theoretical conceptions, necessities of practice the
offered author position of application this category. The main elements of criminological characteristics include: the
way the offense; the subject of a criminal assault; afterpotential picture of crime; characteristics of offender. Розглянуто наукові підходи до визначення місця та ролі криміналістичної характеристики злочинів у сфері страхування, її значення у структурі методики розслідування. На основі аналізу теоретичних концепцій, з урахуванням потреб практики, запропоновано авторську позицію щодо застосування даної категорії. До основних елементів криміналістичної характеристики злочину слід зарахувати: спосіб скоєння злочину; предмет злочинного посягання; слідову картину злочину; характеристику особи злочинця.
