Abstract

The concept and basic attributes of information-predictive nature of the intelligence function of operational and investigative activities of internal affairs are described. The author, based on the analysis of existing philosophical concepts, global practices in the fight against crime, intelligence expresses personal relation to the indication of the issue and makes concrete proposals for understanding the implementation of intelligence functions of operational and investigative activities of internal affairs. On the basis of the epistemological approach, the author analyzes the operational-search activity of the enforcement bodies. The author ubstantiates the existence of intelligence function of operational and investigative activities. Detailed information discloses nature of intelligence functions. Stages of information work for the implementation of function of operational and investigative activities are determined. As an independent direction considered elements of the forecast in the operational-search activities of internal affairs.
