Анотація
protection of police officers and ensuring the safety of the functioning of police bodies in general is one
of the important conditions for the effective operation of the National Police. The object of this study is public
relations in the field of ensuring the own safety of police officers from unlawful encroachments related to their
performance of official duties. Socio-political transformations in our country and the implementation of
institutional reforms in the law enforcement system necessitate an analysis of the powers of one of the leading
actors in ensuring their own security in the police - internal security units. The purpose of this article is to
determine the state of legal regulation of the powers of internal security units in ensuring their own security in the
police, and to develop proposals for its administrative and legal improvement. To achieve this goal, general
scientific and special methods of scientific research were used. According to the results of the study, it is
established that the powers of the units of the Department of Internal Security in the administrative and legal
support of their own security in the police can be divided into: organizational and coordination; functional and
practical; control and supervision; information and analytical; preventive and preventive. It is substantiated that in
order to consolidate the administrative and legal status of internal security units and improve the legal regulation of
their powers in the field of ensuring their own security in the police, the Law of Ukraine "On National Police" and
other departmental regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine need to be amended. Мета цієї статті полягає у визначенні стану правового регулювання
повноважень підрозділів внутрішньої безпеки у забезпеченні власної безпеки в органах
поліції та розроблення пропозицій щодо його адміністративно-правового вдосконалення. Для
досягнення поставленої мети використано загальнонаукові та спеціальні методи наукового пошуку. за
результатами дослідження встановлено, що повноваження підрозділів Департаменту внутрішньої
безпеки в адміністративно-правовому забезпеченні власної безпеки в органах поліції
умовно можна поділити на: організаційно-координаційні; функціонально-практичні;
контрольно-наглядові; інформаційно-аналітичні; превентивно-профілактичні.
Обґрунтовується, що для закріплення адміністративно-правового статусу підрозділів внутрішньої
безпеки та вдосконалення правового регулювання їх повноважень у сфері забезпечення
власної безпеки в органах поліції до Закону України «Про Національну поліцію» та інші
відомчі нормативно-правові акти МВС України слід внести низку доповнень та змін.
